This week we are going to let go of our tradition of commenting on how fast this week and month seems to be (it really has been a fast month) and simply comment on how we are over the moon that this week (and this month) we over at the BN Style HQ have been going the extra mile to create content that celebrates and appreciate women in honor of International Women’s Day and March – which is women’s month.

From our junior editor Mary Edoro speaking to some of our favorite millennial women on what International Women’s Day to several campaigns on the site and on our social media platforms, this week has been truly dedicated to celebrating women. To wrap up the amazing week of content we’ve had, the BN Style team came together, as usual, to talk about the things we are in love with this week. From the classic song that celebrates women that we’ve been listening to this week to the BellaStylista who stole our attention this week, here are this week’s fab finds.

Fashion

We cannot get over Adey Soile’s international women’s day campaign More Than A Woman which featured some of our favorite female powerhouses who blazing the trail and inspiring women along the way. While there were many campaigns to celebrate International Women’s Day, this particular one had everyone on the BN Style team impressed. From the chic outfits and the color palette to the featured women, it was everything we could have asked for it to be.

Beauty

@aramiessentials

This week once again, we found ourselves crushing on Nigerian beauty brand Arami Essentials and but this time around, their glow oil. We are three months into the year and we are still taking our 2019 glowgenda very seriously and if you are on the same boat with us, then Arami Essentials glow oil is the product you should splurge on this weekend or soon.

Entertainment

This week everyone was found cranking up the volume of their favorite women-empowerment songs. From Beyoncé’s every green girlpower jam Who Run The World to Alicia Keys’ Girl On Fire, everyone on the team was definitely getting into the BNSWomensMonth mood this past week and our top pick from our music playlist this week have to be Beyoncé’s Who Run The World, Alicia Keys’ Superwoman, Ariana Grande’s God Is A Woman and Christina Aguilera’s Can’t Hold Us Down. We have also been obsessively watching the youtube video of Enaife Momodu’s New World Order Brunch because it just gives us life.

Cuisine

@circa_lagos

Contemporary restaurant Circa Lagos is one restaurant that has everything a millennial could want – an aesthetically pleasing place which is perfect for Instagram brunch pictures, tasty meals which are worth every penny spent and of course, prices that won’t give you a heart attack or make you spend your entire salary on a meal. Take it from us over here especially Mary Edoro, this is the restaurant you HAVE to try out.

BellaStylista

@theladyvhodka

This week the BellaStylista who had us in awe has to be fashion influencer, stylist and creative director Jennifer Oseh known better as The Lady Vhodka.  Her bold and unconventional style makes her stand out from the regular fashion crowd and her ability to mix unique pieces in an interesting ways make her style ever so refreshing. Jennifer is not just a fashion girl but the ultimate fashion girl who inspires other fashion girls.
