Every Friday, the BNS social media and editorial team comes together and share all our favorite things from the past week. From the fashion brand we are obsessed with to the BellaStylista whose style is just goals, here are this week’s fab finds.

Fashion

We still can not in any way or form get over the African fashion moment that Beyoncé served in the music video of Spirit where she wore a brand she has favored for such a long time and a brand we personally can not get enough of – Tongoro. The perfection of the fit and how African and modern it is just has us wanting to raid Bey’s closet like right now.

Beauty

@neutrogena

Black don’t crack shouldn’t be a reason to not invest in a good sunscreen. Don’t let yourself be set up because black will crack if not well taken care off and when it comes to skincare, sunscreen isn’t optional. It’s mandatory. And one we definitely recommend is Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunscreen .

Cuisine

@prettylagosplaces

We are constantly on the lookout for aesthetically placing spaces that are modern, homely and just nail it with the food, service and feel. This week, our obsession is Maison Kayser. The beautifully decorated space is a sight to behold and just while your eyes are being fed, they also actually feed you and give you a surreal experience.

Entertainment

@beyonce

It’s not everyday you wake up to the news that Beyoncé has released a new album, especially an album that features a good amount of West African acts like Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Shatta Wale and Wizkid with songs inspired by the remake of the Disney classic and fan favourite The Lion King. From the moment we got the news about the Lion King remake and more importantly, that Beyoncé would be taking on the role of Nala, it was clear to us all that the Lion King was going to be all about Beyoncé . And the queen didn’t disappoint us as she curated the soundtrack of the Lion King, released a new single and video for it and has also released an album inspired by the movie. Naturally, all the songs on the album are as excellent as one would expect and our Nigerian acts came all the way through.
