Seeking stylish inspiration to improve a personal style is one thing, and being able to emulate is another, this is because imitation requires that you have similar or identical pieces to what you are replicating. In light of this, I put together the eight (8) bottoms every woman should have in her closet if she wants to successfully vie with style inspirations she comes across. And in coming up with this list, I carefully went through pictures of favourite style influencers on Social Media platforms and looked for bottoms they all had in common. However, it is noteworthy that what I am sharing cuts across all ages, the idea here is to work with individual preferences, personal styles and body types. With that being said, let’s get right into it.
1. A Pencil Skirt
These have been around since forever, but over time you realise they have evolved and have been modified to cater to certain trends and needs. Hence, be sure to pick a skirt that fits into your lifestyle and stick to it.
2. Distressed Jeans
Denim Jeans are non-negotiable when it comes to being on this list because of their versatility. On the other hand, distressed jeans are even better because they bring that cooler vibe and elevation to regular denim jeans, I am sure that is why style influencers cannot seem to resist them.
Joggers may be commonly known as loungewear, but more recently they are being elevated as dressy outfits and we absolutely love them!
4. Flared Skirts
The good thing about flared skirts is that they are suitable for all body types. So either it’s an A-line, asymmetrical, skater skirt etc., that works for your body type, just go ahead and work with inspirations that improve the way you style them.
Leggings are here on my list also because of their versatility, as they can serve has lounge wears, active wears or even dressy occasions you decide!.
Shorts come in various forms like Bermuda, denim, cargo, pleated, running shorts etc., suitable for different occasions. Ultimately, the main thing here is to own those that fit into your lifestyle.
7. Flared Pants
From work to business meetings, to drinks, church etc. flared pants are definitely known for their flexibility, especially because of their variants, such as culottes, wide-leg pants, bell pants etc. Most importantly simply own those that work for your body type.
8. Leather Pants
Not very common in this part of the world, but I personally love it because it is a timeless piece, hence depending on your personal style, if it works for you go ahead and get it immediately!
