AMVCA Cultural Day shows how fashion can express identity and heritage. This year’s cultural night was a display of African glamour and style; everyone shone brightly, but two of them won best-dressed.

At the AMVCA cultural night, Liquorose Afije was absolutely mesmerising, snagging the award for best-dressed female. She dazzled in this gorgeous, shimmering blue Aso-oke from Prudential Atelier, which had elaborate, artful ruffles at the train and colourful patterns. The bird motif on the skirt was beautiful.

And for the men, Prince Nelson Enwerem truly brought the regal vibes, winning best-dressed male. His outfit, made by the House of Vieve, was a powerful tribute to the Benin kingdom. It was like he stepped right out of history!

What’s really cool is that, beyond just looking incredible, they both took home a million Naira each courtesy of Goldberg. It just goes to show that when you put thought and heart into your style, especially when it celebrates culture, it definitely pays off.
