When African celebrities and designers come together, the result is pure magic โ€“ and at the AMVCA Cultural Day, the more elaborate, the better. The AMVCA cultural night is the opening night of the main award show.

At the AMVCA cultural day, guests represent African culture in all its glory through their fashion, and in previous years, we’ve been left captivated. This year, true to form, they arrived in regal agbadas, colorful fabrics, dramatic headpieces, and amazing props, creating what felt like our very own Met Gala. The different tribes and cultures in Nigeria and Africa were duly represented.
