When we heard that American department store Bloomingdale’s was collaborating with Ugandan actress and Lion King star Florence Kasumba, we were beyond excited! Then we learnt it features African designers in celebration of the live action remake of the classic tale? Some of whom actually live and work on the continent? We were officially on cloud nine!
