The premiere of The Wedding Party 2 was the red carpet event last weekend and the “Arabian Chic” dress code was certainly one of the most talked about things on Twitter and at the BN Style HQ.

The movie’s cast and other celebrities were there in their finest Arab inspired looks ready to slay, but only a few made it to our best-dressed list. Some guests arrived thinking Arab meant Indian so of course, some looks were disqualified from this list.

Adesua Etomi in Tubo

Mrs Wellington looked so chic in her black embellished Tubo outfit, the fringe covering just the right places to avoid being too revealing. Her headpiece by Amakaco was the cherry on this Sundae for us!

Banky W in Mai Atafo

You can never go wrong with classic colours like black and white. Banky gave us wealthy Sheik W vibes with his look by Mai Atafo, which featured silver embroidery on the cuff and the label of his coat.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in Ugo Monye

The dynamic duo that is Ebuka and Ugo Monye strike yet again with this Moroccan-Arab themed look on the red carpet. We love his not-so-literal take on the theme of the night, the red fez totally completes the look perfectly.

Eyinna Nwigwe in Seyi Vodi

Definitely, a standout look for the night in his gladiator brogues. Eyinna who played the lead character Nonso Onwuka in the movie’s sequel looked dashing in his saroual white pants and gold hat. Another not-so-literal take on the Arab theme that we totally love.

Ini Dima Okojie in Fablane by Derin

Red hot for the night, even the red carpet couldn’t steal Ini’s shine. We love the unexpected shift away from her usual girl-next-door looks to this glamorous Arabian genie look, it’s so refreshing. Ini and Derin make another dynamic duo when it comes to red carpet looks and she got the unanimous vote as best dress overall from the BN Style team. Everything won us over, even the hair and makeup.

Mo Abudu in Lanre Da Silva Ajayi

Queen of the Arabian night, Mo Abudu came to shine and that’s exactly what she did the whole night, as lights hit her Lanre Da Silva Ajayi sequin and lace ensemble. Get her makeup look here.

Seyi Shay in Emem Morgan

The star singer who is usually a lot sexier on the red carpet went with a modest take on the Arab chic theme for the night and she pulled it off nicely in this floor length, powder blue dress with cape sleeves.
