With ongoing global conversations addressing the unsustainability of fashion as well as efforts to tackle environmental and social challenges associated with fashion, it was refreshing to know that her look was created with sustainability as a priority. Vogue reports that the dress was created using reclaimed materials and organic silk certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).

About her look to the event, Adut said to Vogue;

I feel my most beautiful and confident when I wear Valentino. I always get a say. [Pierpaolo asks] ‘How do you feel? Do you like [the dress]?’ He knows how to bring the beauty out of every woman through his clothes; he’s a genius.
