First Vogue and now Maison Valentino – Nigerian Author Tomi Adeyemi is really putting her fashion foot forward in 2020.
For a new series tagged “In Conversation With”, the fashion house aims at highlighting the works, insights, and inspirations of today’s top thinkers through a series of short films.
This first episode features the author, who is known for her Young Adult fantasy trilogy, Legacy of Orïsha, she sits down with the Maison and Nigerian Filmmaker Akinola Davies Jr to explain how fantasy is often the answer to our real-world issues.
According to Tomi Adeyemi, “the world is only as magical as you make it“. In the video, she looks incredible in a white maxi dress from the Valentino Le Blanc SS20 ready-to-wear collection alongside the Valentino Garavani Super Vee bag.
