Big rings, chunky neckpieces adorned with beads and cowries, a woman standing behind a seated friend, braiding her hair, a voice crooning soulfully—Temi Otedola and Orange Culture are taking us to simpler times with the teaser of their collaboration.

In the video shot by Chukwuka Nwobi, we see snippets of the new collection; an adire suit, bold coloured sets, (a woven bag, maybe?) and we can’t wait to see the full collection.

During a live video session, Temi answered some questions about the collaboration.

The  JTO X Orange Culture Capsule collection will include gender-neutral pieces, handcrafted with sustainable materials here in Nigeria. There will be a pop-up shop on Friday which will also double as the launch event with the pieces from the collection selling for N10,000and above. There will be a panel session with Orange Culture founder Adebayo Oke-Lawal.

On why she chose to work with Orange Culture she added;

Orange Culture is a brand I truly LOVE. I have shopped their collections and followed their journey for years. I 100% support what they stand for and how they continue to push the boundaries of Nigerian design.
