As fashion continues to evolve beyond the runway, the most impactful brands are no longer defined solely by the products they create, but by the communities they build and the conversations they inspire. This philosophy sits at the heart of Sip n Style, Mimmi Kasu’s annual community initiative designed to celebrate, connect and empower women through thoughtfully curated experiences.

Founded by premium womenswear brand Mimmi Kasu, Sip n Style was conceived as a way of appreciating the women who have contributed to the brand’s journey while creating an environment where authentic relationships, shared experiences and meaningful dialogue can flourish. Since its inception, the platform has brought together accomplished women across business, finance, law, entrepreneurship and the creative industries, reinforcing the belief that success becomes more impactful when knowledge, opportunities and lived experiences are shared.
The fourth edition, Sip n Style 4.0, themed “Colours of Impact,” marked a significant evolution in the platform’s journey. Held in partnership with Providus Bank at its Lekki Phase 1 branch, this year’s edition moved beyond an intimate appreciation gathering into a more immersive leadership experience. Alongside six accomplished women from diverse industries, fifty carefully selected participants; including founders, professionals, entrepreneurs and emerging leaders were invited to engage directly with women whose journeys continue to shape business, enterprise and society.

The carefully curated speaker line-up featured distinguished women whose careers span finance, law, entertainment, sustainability, healthcare, entrepreneurship and corporate leadership. Speakers included Kemi Ojenike, Lawyer and Managing Director, Meristem Family Office; Alexis Nowekere; C.I. Segun-Ojo, General Manager, Nile Entertainment and Film Distribution Executive for West Africa; Linda Uneze, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Maurice Xandra Solutions and the Doing Business in Nigeria Conference; Ota Akhigbe, Director of Partnerships & Programs at eHealth Africa; Nonyelum Ezenwa, Group Head, Emerging Corporates at Providus Bank; Equi Nwabudike, Director of ESG, Sustainability & Development Advisory at Green Frontier Solutions; and Mimmi Chima, Founder and Creative Director of Mimmi Kasu and Founder of Sip & Style. The event was gracefully hosted by Riyah Abdul, whose charisma and composure helped guide the room through conversations that were both elevated and deeply human.

Designed as a multi-dimensional experience, Sip n Style 4.0 combined editorial fashion imagery, intentional networking and a thought-provoking panel conversation with authentic storytelling. Rather than creating another networking event, the programme intentionally prioritised meaningful dialogue over formality, encouraging openness, mentorship and practical learning. Participants engaged in conversations that extended beyond professional achievements to include personal growth, overcoming adversity, balancing ambition with purpose and the value of building communities of women who genuinely support one another.
The 2026 edition also reflected the philosophy behind Mimmi Kasu’s latest collection, COLOURS—a body of work inspired by hope, resilience and the transformative beauty found within every season of a woman’s journey. Just as the collection celebrates the strength that emerges through life’s changing seasons, Sip n Style embodied that same message by creating a space where accomplished women shared not only their successes, but also the experiences that shaped them.

For Mimmi Kasu, Sip n Style represents a broader commitment to redefining what a premium fashion brand can contribute to society. While craftsmanship, tailoring and timeless design remain central to the brand’s identity, equal importance is placed on creating spaces that cultivate confidence, celebrate excellence and foster meaningful connections among women.
As the platform continues to grow, Sip n Style is positioned not simply as an annual event, but as an evolving community at the intersection of fashion, leadership and purposeful storytelling. Through intentional partnerships such as its collaboration with Providus Bank and by convening influential women alongside the next generation of leaders, Mimmi Kasu continues to demonstrate that fashion can be more than an expression of personal style; it can become a platform for dialogue, mentorship, collaboration and lasting impact.
“Sip n Style was never created simply to host beautiful women in a beautiful room. It was created to remind women that every table they earn a seat at becomes more meaningful when they make room for someone else. Fashion may bring us together, but purpose is what keeps us connected.”— Mimmi Chima, Founder & Creative Director, Mimmi Kasu
