Day one of the 2019 Lagos Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2020 collection shows was loose, bold and beautiful. The designers have been in hibernation for months prepping, bristling with creativity in anticipation of what the new collection would look like. From all corners of the Federal Palace Hotel’s Balmoral Hall, the adrenaline could be felt as the models descending the runways with their designers behind. But it wasn’t only the models that hit the runways last night, some of the celebrities left their front row seats for the runways with the models.

See how the stars slayed the runway on day two of the 2019 Lagos Fashion Week:

Toke Makinwa for Yutee Rone

Toke Makinwa strut was classic and classy, her face beat apt for the mood, her hair, a ponytail perfectly placed below her back where it belongs. She came only to walk the walk and allow the fashion editors talk the talk all year.

Toni Tone for DZYN

Toni Tones knows what to do with a ponytail. Her dazzling blue figure-hugging dress from DZYN‘s new collection was perfect for the night. Fierce and feminine.

BBNaija Ike Onyema for Ili

Ike who only made his debut on the runway last night knew what was expected of a model. Sunglasses in the dark, pockets on both arms. The grey jacket he wore will definitely be what BellaStylistas will crave come next year.

Rema, DJ Spinall and Perri Shakes-Drayton for Tokyo James

Rema was built for the sport. His poker face signalled he didn’t have time for the cheers he received from the crowd. The matter at hand was the slay the runway and that he did.

Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton also made her Lagos Fashion Week debut last night and already walking the runway. Alongside many professional runway models, Perri could not be missed as the crowd cheered her strut.

DJSpinall had the perfect Tyson Beckford‘s swagger. His outfit, perfect for a superstar DJ like himself, coats over leather, his signature hat (custom made of course) and sunglasses for the wow effect.
