Lagos Fashion Week returns from Wednesday, 28 October, to Sunday, 1 November, with five days of runway shows, fashion business conversations, retail experiences, offsite presentations and after-hours plans. Whether you are attending to discover emerging designers, catch up with familiar names or understand more about the business shaping African fashion, there is plenty to plan around.
The key is knowing what is happening each day and deciding which experiences deserve a place on your schedule. From the opening-day presentations to the final offsite shows on Sunday, here is how to make the most of Lagos Fashion Week 2026.
Wednesday, 28 October: Ease Into Fashion Week
The first day offers a mix of industry conversations, offsite presentations and an evening welcome party. It is a good opportunity to settle into the week, get familiar with the programme and decide which designers you want to prioritise.

The Fashion Business Series begins at 11 a.m. with Crafted, followed by sessions on fashion business modelling and franchising, fashion business presented by the Bank of Industry, and an interdisciplinary approach to fashion education presented by the Italian Institute of Fashion Management. If you are interested in the business behind the clothes, these conversations are worth considering alongside the runway programme.
In the evening, Sisiano has an offsite presentation at 5 p.m., followed by the Alara x Emmy Kasbit retail presentation at 6 p.m. Orange Culture takes over the 7 p.m. slot with an offsite presentation. The day closes with the Heineken Lagos Fashion Week 2026 Welcome Party, hosted by Mofe Duncan, at 8 p.m. The listed presentations and party are by invitation only.
Plan for the day: Make time for at least one industry session before heading out for the evening. If you have invitations, build your night around the presentations and the welcome party.
Thursday, 29 October: A Full Evening of Nigerian Fashion
Thursday is when the runway programme begins to gather momentum, with a packed evening featuring established names, emerging labels and retail-focused showcases.

The morning starts with a fireside chat with Lagos Fashion Week founder Omoyemi Akerele at 11 a.m. Fashion business sessions continue at noon, followed by Manifeste at 1 p.m. and Fashion Lab x Olaniwun Ajayi Legal Practitioners at 2 p.m. Killentar’s offsite presentation is scheduled for 3 p.m., with doors opening at 3:30 p.m.
The evening line-up starts at 5 p.m. with Hertunba, For Style Sake, DWL and Geometric Motion Design Lab. At 6 p.m., look out for Dust of the Earth, Bakusoraya and Maliko.
The 7 p.m. slot brings together Ajanée, Iremide, Street Souk and Sevon Dejana. It is a particularly interesting hour for anyone keen to see different approaches to contemporary African fashion, from streetwear to more expressive, concept-led collections.
At 8 p.m., the schedule features Garbe, Chicknicity, Imprint South Africa and Oshobor. The day closes with Cute Saint, Christie Brown, Cynthia Abila and Nkwo at 9 p.m.
Plan for the day: Arrive with a shortlist of designers you do not want to miss. With several labels grouped into each time slot, check the official schedule and any event-specific entry details before deciding where to spend your evening.
Friday, 30 October: Discover More Designers and Stay for the Music
Friday brings another full programme of fashion business conversations, runway presentations and a late-night music experience.
The morning begins with the Fashion Business Series: AFC at 11 a.m. A private lunch presented by the U.S. Consulate General is also scheduled for the afternoon and is by invitation only.

The runway programme begins at 5 p.m. with Imadeduso, Pepperrow, Dukun and Bornstar Nigeria (BNG). At 6 p.m., the schedule features Ibilola Ogundipe, IGC Fashion, Sahrazad and Studio Imo.
At 7 p.m., look out for Fiuneggru, Pettre Taylor, Jermaine Bleu and Mot. The Label. The 8 p.m. line-up includes Irapada, Abiola Olusola, Lush Hair, LFJ and Bloke, followed by Désirée Iyama, JZO and Ekikere at 9 p.m.
Fashion Week does not end with the final runway slot. At 10:30 p.m., the Lagos Fashion Week x Bandage Live Music Experience offers another way to close out the day.
Plan for the day: Keep your afternoon flexible, particularly if you are moving between venues. If you intend to attend the live music experience, plan your transport and outfit with a long day in mind.
Saturday, 31 October: The Final Full Day of Runway Shows
Saturday is another major day for the runway programme, with a business conversation focused on the commercial future of African fashion, followed by presentations from designers working across different aesthetics and markets.

At noon, Lagos Fashion Week x Business Day presents Capital, Craft & Commerce: Scaling African Fashion for Global Demand. The session is by invitation only and is particularly relevant to conversations around how African fashion businesses can grow beyond their home markets.
The evening shows begin at 5 p.m. with Bridget Awosika, Holy One, NYA and Malité. At 6 p.m., the programme features Pillz N Poizn, Dimeji Ilori, E-S-Oby Liman and Boyedoe.
At 7 p.m., the line-up includes Israella Kobla, Studio Namnyak, Jewel Jemila and FIA. Mariah Bocoum, Elie Kuame, Y’wande and Eki Silk follow at 8 p.m.
The 9 p.m. slot brings together Fruché, Ejiro Amos Tafiri and Ugo Monye, alongside a Heineken presentation. The evening continues with the Heineken Lagos Fashion Week After Party at 10:30 p.m.
Plan for the day: Save room for the designers you have been looking forward to all week, but leave time to enjoy the atmosphere beyond the runway. Saturday is a good day to connect with fellow fashion enthusiasts, creatives and industry professionals.
Sunday, 1 November: Take Fashion Week Beyond the Runway
Sunday offers a different pace, with a programme centred on offsite presentations and an open studio. It is an opportunity to experience designers in settings beyond the main runway schedule.
Iamsigo‘s offsite presentation is listed for noon, followed by Orire at 4 p.m. Gozel Green is scheduled for 5 p.m., while Andrea Iyamah opens its studio at 6 p.m. Emmy Kasbit follows with an offsite presentation at 7 p.m., and Lisa Folawiyo closes the day at 8 p.m.
The final day is worth keeping open if you want to see how designers present their work outside the main show format. Offsite experiences can offer a different perspective on a collection, so check each presentation’s access requirements before setting out.
Plan for the day: Do not assume every event is open to the public. Confirm invitations, locations and entry details in advance, and allow enough time to travel between venues.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Throughout the week, the Lagos Fashion Week x Alara showrooms, the Lagos Fashion Week x Alara retail experiences and the LFW Partner Hub at the Federal Palace Hotel Ballroom are listed as daily activities from 10 a.m. The schedule also lists XRetail experiences at Alara, Vanestyle and Zinkata, with City Walk open from 10 a.m. daily.
If you are attending for the fashion business programme, make time for the morning sessions. If the runway is your priority, check the evening line-ups and select the designers you most want to see. And if you are going for the full Lagos Fashion Week experience, leave room for the retail activations, offsite presentations and social events that bring the week together.
Most importantly, check the official Lagos Fashion Week channels for updates, venue details and access requirements. Some events are explicitly by invitation only, and the published schedule does not guarantee public entry to every presentation.
Five days can go by quickly, so plan ahead, stay flexible and make space for a few discoveries along the way.
