At this year’s Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week, the hair and makeup looks on and off the runway were amazing. It was all about dewy skin, inner glow, bold hair and a whole lot of attitude. It was extremely hard to pick our favourite hair and makeup looks but these stunners just left no slay behind.

Eku Edewor & Tracy Nwapa

New mom and TV personality, Eku Edewor and beauty entrepreneur Tracy Nwapa gave us
#friendgoals on the front row of Lagos Fashion & Design Week. Both Eku and Tracy’s skin were
impeccable with just the right amount of inner glow. Eku’s sleek back low bun matched her vampy
lips while Tracy went for a curly ponytail she achieved with her signature hairline, Trayciees Pieces.
Tracy did her own makeup while Eku’s glow was achieved by SB Artistry’s Sasha Baker.

Idia Aisien

Spice TV star Idia Aisien looked amazing wearing Ilare pieces and bone straight hair with caramel and chocolate blonde hues by Trayciees Pieces. Celebrity Makeup Artist, Dodos of D’ArtisteByDodos gave her signature clean beat with breathable skin, bold lashes, and a subtle glow. Idia’s look is one we will definitely be replicating.

The Nale Girls

Sisters that slay together, stay together! Fashion twins Nwando and Princess Ebeledike were rocking dark brown mid-length fringe bobs by Hikky’s Hair. We loved their glossy lids paired with brown lips by Dodos of D’Artiste By Dodos. And of course, they were wearing their brand, The Nale Girl.

Leyi Ush

Fashionista Leyi Ush looked amazing with a middle part and sleek hair by Hair By Laurent. We loved the foiled eyeshadow, dewy skin and stunning bronzy glow by Jhules of Doranne Beauty. Her look was perfect in her white ensemble by Ejiro Amos Tafiri.

Afua Osei

We are used to seeing Afua Osei of SheLeadsAfrica either on stage at a technology conference or speaking to young women all over Africa on entrepreneurship. Her look at LFDW17 Day 4 was a delight. We loved her soft nude pink lips and pinky glow by Tinu of Faces By Labisi. Her natural hair top bun was très chic which she created by watching lots of beauty videos.

Silvia Njoki

Kenyan beauty blogger Silvia Joki was literally the definition of “too much sauce.” Silvia stepped
out looking like she was dipped in gold. Her makeup was done by the amazing Jane of Flawless Faces by Jane and her nails by Temidayo of Verschona. She looked divine in a Grey Projects piece.
