The floral trend blossoms pretty much every spring  and fashion lovers are hard pressed to see a new iteration of the trend. That is of course, until the sold out Nigerian 2018 World Cup Kit by Nike surfaced.

Whilst florals in athleisure or sportswear isn’t entirely new, the two piece floral set (a personal favourite in what was a phenomenal capsule) feels really fresh, like it’s been interpreted in a radical, innovative way – not only because it’s more of an Erdem-esque winter floral, but because, by virtue of being a two piece, we automatically have several options when it comes to styling it. So if you were lucky enough to get your hands on one or more pieces of the kit, this one’s for you.

As Separates

Noble Igwe

Noble styled his two ways – one in what we assume is the full monty, and the other paired with a crisp white shirt. The latter option is great for fans who aren’t that big on print but still want to rock this look. The same can be tried in reverse with a denim and tee or white shirt, with just the track jacket worn as a stylish bomber.

Full On Floral

Tiwa Savage

This all-in look is perfect is you’re a ‘more is more‘ girl – we love that Tiwa styled hers with an of the moment visor – ticking off another key trend – plastic accessories. The athleisure die-hards will be pleased she opted for sneakers but if you’d prefer a bit more glamour, or plan to wear this to an event for example – heels will give it a more fashion forward spin and will work just as well.

Noble Igwe

Paired his full floral look with a cute Daddy Jax baseball cap.

Tobi Bakre

The BBNaija star styled his simply and let the print do the talking- with designer sneakers and sunglasses.

Verdict:  Athleisure and florals are a surprisingly good mix, and if you got lucky and managed to snatch this collector’s item off the shelves, make sure you rock it over and over and over again.

Best For: Athleisure fans, sports aficionados and fashion girls and guys.
