The smell of freshly baked muffins is one of a kind. It can make you feel relaxed and happy in an instant. Blueberry, Raisin, Chocolate chip and beyond make every muffin dangerously delicious. Yum! There’s a popular Nigerian saying, “problem no dey finish, try dey enjoy”. And that my BellaStylistas is our official anthem this weekend.

Enjoy life with this simple easy bake muffin recipe. Whip this up in 10 minutes, and your stomach will thank you for it. Oh yes, it’s that good. These basic steps will make you look like a pro in no time.

Ingredients

2 cups All-Purpose Flour

3 Teaspoons Baking Powder

½ Teaspoon Salt

¾ Cup Granulated Sugar

1 Egg

1 cup milk

¼ Cup Vegetable Oil

Step 1

Preheat the oven to medium heat. In a mixing bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.

Step 2

Lightly stir the dry ingredients together and make a well in the middle. In a small bowl, beat the egg with a fork and stir in milk and oil.

Step 3

Pour the egg-oil-milk mixture into the well of the flour mixture. Mix quickly and lightly with a fork but DO NOT eat. This will cause the batter to be lumpy.

Step 4

Pour the batter into paper-lined muffin cups and add your toppings; blueberry, raisin or chocolate chips. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden.

Enjoy!
