Looking to eat something tasty without having to stay in the kitchen too long? Then look no further than my Chicken Stir-fry dish. It’s fast, filling and fulfilling. This dish is simple to make at any time of the day, so have fun while you’re at it.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp schezuan sauce *optional*
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 knorr cubes
  • 1 tbsp crushes red pepper
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves

Method

  • Clean and slice chicken breasts
  • Chop bell peppers and onions
  • Mince garlic cloves
  • In a clean wok/frying pan, add sesame oil and fry onions for a few seconds. Then add in garlic and fry for a few more seconds
  • Add in sliced chicken breasts and cook until no longer pink
  • Add in seasoning cube and stir
  • Add in chopped bell peppers, followed with black pepper and red chilli flakes. Stir
  • Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce and schezuan. Mix and simmer for 2-3 minutes
  • Mix water and cornstarch together, then pour into the wok. Simmer on low heat until thickened
