Last year LUX announced South African musician signed to Universal Music, actor and TV personality, Nandi Madida as a Face of LUX.

In this new video, the former model tells us all about what makes her #MoreThanYouCanSee and the importance of sharing the message to young women who look up to her that you can be ‘strong and feminine’ and ‘still make your dreams a reality’.

As part of her announcement last year LUX released a TV ad shot by Harry George Hall.

“We are happy to have Nandi join our LUX family. Nandi’s eclectic style and look, and her wide-ranging roles, from mother to TV personality, make her the perfect LUX woman. Her mix of modern and traditional, both in taste and through her music, is so representative of LUX,” said Unilever Personal Care PR Manager, Sphelele Mjadu.

They are highlighting this paradigm shift by changing perceptions that women should only be taken at face value but should embrace what makes them multifaceted.

Other past and present dynamic women who have partnered with LUX , and mirror the many facets of a woman; whether as business leaders or mothers raising a family and are representative of this narrative in the South African market include Khanyi Dhlomo, Basetsana Kumalo, Joanne Strauss, Sonia Mbele and Felicia Mabuza-Suttle.
