Style maven Derin Odugbesan-Thomas is no stranger to stellar street style, and this double take on one trend is no different. As the Lagos based Bellastylista and fashion stylist is wont to do, she showed us how to get more wear out of our wardrobe with two takes on one stylish skirt.
For her first look she dressed down the playful pleated skirt which features polkadots, florals and tartans with a simple white tee, green Hermes slides and a peach snakeskin shoulder bag. Her beauty look was equally understated with natural daytime makeup and a wavy ‘do.
For her second look, she gives us a definite more is more vibe, doubling down on the stripes mirrored in the skirt with a burgundy striped shirt and waist length blonde braids. She paired this creative work ready look with burgundy T-bar strappy heels and the same shoulder bag.
We think both looks work incredibly well and can easily see the former working for brunch or a daytime event and the latter for a relaxed work look.
