High Tea with BellaNaija Style embraces sustainability this year in collaboration with our amazing partners, MAC Cosmetics and Nestlé Pure Life! We’re passionate about empowering women and protecting the planet we share.
BellaNaija’s Sustainably Fashionable Campaign:
Recognizing the fashion industry’s impact on the environment, BellaNaija Style champions sustainability through our “Sustainably Fashionable” campaign. This platform raises awareness about eco-conscious practices within the fashion world, encouraging people to make informed choices and consider the lifecycle of their clothing.
MAC Back-to-MAC Initiative:
MAC celebrates sustainability through its “Back-to-MAC” program, a pioneering initiative in place for over 30 years. This program allows customers to return their clean, empty MAC products to participating counters. The recyclable packaging is then given a second life, either transformed into new materials or even reborn as new MAC products! MAC responsibly converts it into energy for packaging that can’t be recycled.
Nestlé Pure Life: Responsible Production:
Nestlé Pure Life understands the preciousness of water and prioritizes sustainability throughout their operations. They constantly seek innovative ways to optimize water usage in sourcing, production, and delivery. Nestlé Pure Life is also dedicated to reducing its environmental footprint through packaging and recycling. Since 2013, they’ve reduced the amount of plastic in their 0.6 liter and 1.5 Litre bottles by over 15%. What’s more, all of their bottles are 100% recyclable and can be used for all sorts of new, reusable things.
BellaNaija Style aligns with both partners’ commitments to eco-conscious practices. We believe in making informed fashion choices and minimizing our environmental impact.

Bring your finished or barely-there MAC lipsticks to the event! By participating in MAC’s Back-to-MAC program, you’re giving your used packaging a second life and contributing to a more sustainable future. Plus, you get a chance to win fabulous MAC goodies during the exciting MAC trivia session!
Guests will also stay hydrated throughout the event with Pure Life, champions of sustainability. All water bottles used during the event will be returned to Pure Life factories for recycling, aligning with their latest sustainability goals.
