Spring a.k.a. pastel season always sees a resurgence of sugary hues – one particular coloUr though, seems to have taken over completely. And yup, you guessed it – it’s yellow. In all its shades from the palest daffodil to the brightest canary à la Amal Clooney at the Royal Wedding, yellow seems to have found its way into the wardrobes of fashion girls the world over – and we aren’t even a little mad about it.

Stephanie Linus recently wore this yellow number to a screening of her movie DRY in Ghana on International Day to End Obstetric Fistula. The movie star and UNFPA Ambassador looked positively regal in the peplum, below the knee dress with yellow heels. We love that the sunny hue really upped the wow factor on an otherwise very serious look.

She finished off the look from Enthyst with a daytime smokey eye and neutral, glossy lips by Bimpe Onakoya and her hair from  Ferdinand’s Hair was a gently tousled yet polished pixie by Mofe Bamuyiwa.

Reiterating the powerful and important message of the movie on Instagram,

#Dry is not just a movie but a movement.

Stephanie Linus continues to embody the notion that there is no single story – you can be gorgeous, talented, stylish AND filled with purpose, grace and serve your community.

We are totally here for that.
