Budding traditional menswear brand Willz Collections, led by Princewill Obinna Iwueke, recently unveiled his spring-summer 2022 collection at his studio in his home town, Port Harcourt.

Inspired by his architecture background, Princewill’s detail-oriented garment construction blends with his love for traditional prints.

Last year, he began preparing his designs for Lagos Fashion Week 2021. However, he was unable to attend due to personal reasons. Fortunately, his pieces are good and ready to go for this year’s Fashion Week.

In a statement made by the Founder, Princewill Obinna Iwueke:

The reason for our latest offering is to acknowledge how success has become part of our brand identity.

The Willz brand created an offsite with artistic installations to give an entirely new experience for its customers. Now that we are testing the waters, we plan to get feedback from customers.

With Willz Collections, there has been a growing demand for more complex designs in menswear. The constant evolving visibility of the Nigerian fashion industry has provoked emerging designers like us to innovate from a modern perspective.

About Willz Collections

Willz Collections was fully established in November 2018, though it had been operating since 2017. It is a minimalist luxury brand that connects the African continent with other regions.

After noticing a gap in the menswear and African space, Willz Collections is trying to sell men’s apparel to the extent that it can create a uniform for everyday wear by elevating essentials, reinventing them, and keeping them current.
