Though we’ve seen glimpses of what’s to come via social media, the official trailer of the much anticipated Lara and the Beat movie is finally here, and it’s getting us SO excited.

From the studio that gifted us the amazing Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G), Biola Alabi Media is back with another summer blockbuster, the musical dramedy ‘Lara and the Beat’ is coming of age movie about the young and beautiful Giwa sisters (Dara and Lara) caught in the centre of a financial scandal of their late parents’ media conglomerate. The sisters are forced out of their privileged bubble, and must learn to build their own future – through music and enterprise – to salvage their family’s past.

Starring artistes Seyi Shay and Vector, and features Nollywood veterans Chinedu Ikedieze, Uche Jombo, Shaffy Bello, as well as #NewNollywood fan favourites Somkele Idhlama, Chioma Akpotha,  Lala Akindoju, DJ Xclusive, Toni Tones, Deyemi Okanlawon, Demola Adedoyin, Folu Storms, Sharon Ooja and many more.

We’ve already spotted looks from Nigerian designers like Rabesque, Re Lagos, DZYN Abuja, Andrea Iyamah Swimwear and many more.
