A little girl would dream of how she wished her wedding day would turn out from as young as age 8! Sometimes these dreams are realistic, other times as the child ages, her personal style and lifestyle choices also evolve. While most brides might opt for an extravagant style for their wedding day (because why not, it’s their wedding), however, a stand-out bride like Lady Mandy would rather opt for a more unconventional dress to tie the knot in.

Kenyan fashion stylist, Lady Mandy got married to Sauti Sol‘s guitarist, composer, and producer, Polycarp Otieno, better known as Fancy Fingers very recently at the Fairmont Mt Kenya Safari Club, Nanyuki. One thing we can’t seem to get over is the bride’s wedding dress, accessories and hairstyle.

Often times, a bride is seen in either a Cinderella ball gown, a flowy mermaid dress, or a something sparkly, but Mandy defied all stereotypes of how a bride should look on her day. Her dress was a sight for sore eyes, a delight of tulle and Chantilly guipure lace.

The guipure lace was infused with a charmeuse fabric on a boxy button-down design, giving the bride that exquisite look she totally deserved. Minimal accessories completed Mandy’s look, she opted for a silver stud earring which complimented the sparkling diamond ring on her finger.

Three things stood out for us; her beautiful signature red hair, the regal Queen Anne neckline wedding dress and the stunning blue tux worn by her husband.
