The past few years have seen the fashion industry undergo evolution and technology is taking it next stage, from AR/VR dressing rooms to temperature-changing fabrics – with the pandemic and lockdown in 2021, the rise of virtual runway shows and modelling have quickly become a thing and in the industry of CGI models, influential digital models like Shudu are being used for campaigns and lookbooks.

Joining the innovation, media IT girl Ayanda Thabethe recently announced the launch of her “digital twin” iYanda – a virtual reality model that is modelled after the star.
