Fresh off her Trailblazer Award win, Uche Montana arrived in a breathtaking Tubo creation styled by Dahmola. The look featured a heavily beaded corset that cascaded dramatically into a feathered skirt, evoking the image of a phoenix rising through flames. Regal, fiery, and cinematic, it was the perfect fashion moment for a woman clearly stepping into a new era.

Nana Adaa Akudo

One of the most delightful blends of colour on the entire carpet. The structured silhouette paired with the soft purple gradient created a look that lingered in your mind long after the red carpet ended. Styled by Mickey Creates and designed by Maya and Stitches, it struck the perfect balance between elegance and artistry.

Dapper and immaculately tailored, Tobi Bakare’s look reminded everyone that African Maximalism done right always wins. Designers Deji and Kola have consistently mastered menswear, but this particular look felt especially intentional, polished, and full of care.

Bucci Franklin

It is not every day you see a quarter jacket on a red carpet, but Bucci Franklin made it work effortlessly. The relaxed tailoring and nonchalant styling gave the outfit a refreshing ease that stood out among more traditional formalwear.

Chioma Ikokwu

Chioma looked like molten gold brought to life. Extravagant, and unapologetically dramatic, the caged detailing elevated the outfit into something almost sculptural. Yet even without it, the dress would still have commanded attention.

Nomzamo Mbatha

Tubo delivered two standout looks this year, and Nomzamo’s was another undeniable hit. The colours, patterns, and overall styling felt perfectly suited for her hosting duties; glamorous, commanding, and impossible to overlook.

Uzoamaka Power

Still on the press run for Call of My Life, Uzoamaka Power fully embraced bridal fashion at the AMVCAs. While others leaned into subtle bridal accents, she arrived looking like a complete modern bride, making one of the boldest thematic choices of the night.

Andrew Yaw Bunting

Like Uzoamaka, Andrew played into the Groom’s look core. His tuxedo was one of the sharpest menswear moments of the night, elevated by thoughtful collar accents and a perfectly placed brooch that gave the entire look a refined dandyism.

Linda Ejiofor

Winning two AMVCAs and still making the best-dressed list? Range. Linda wore a luminous cyan-green dress by Lady Beellionaire Luxury, with colours reminiscent of the iridescent palette of peacock feathers. Ethereal and striking all at once.

Akin Faminu

Akin Faminu took a classic tuxedo silhouette and elevated it with embellished floral gem detailing that transformed the entire look. It was sharp, fashion-forward, and impossibly elegant.

Idia Aisien
