Looking for something a little different to do in Lagos this November? Here’s one to add to your list.

Michelin-starred Nigerian chef Adejoké Bakare is bringing her acclaimed London restaurant, Chishuru, to Lagos for a special four-night residency from Wednesday, 4 to Saturday, 7 November.

Taking place during ART X Lagos week, the residency is set to be one for food lovers, with Joké and her team serving a six-course menu inspired by local produce and the food cultures that have shaped her cooking. Expect familiar Nigerian ingredients and flavours, reimagined through Chishuru’s distinctive approach.

And because no Lagos dinner is complete without a good drink, each evening will also come with a bespoke drinks offering created especially for the residency. The menu includes Chishuru’s Spiced Okra Martini, made with vodka, jalapeño and verjus, alongside Pedro’s Ògógóró, a spirit distilled in Lagos from palm sap. Co-owner Matt Paice will also select wines to pair with the menu.

Dinner begins at 7:30 pm each night at Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, making this a particularly good one to bookmark if you’re building your November Lagos itinerary.
