Bonang Matheba returned to host the Miss South Africa for the second year in a row, and all eyes were on her usual show-stopping style. The reality TV star has become an unmissable style star in recent years and is one of the rare SA celebrities with the ability to pull off even the most avant-garde couture looks, just as she did in one of her fave designers Gert Johan-Coetzee at Vodacom Durban July last month.

Bonang looked every bit a beauty queen, as she shared the stage with 12 of the most beautiful women in the country. Her first two looks were designed by SA couture house Villioti Fashion Institute.

For her first appearance, she stunned in a dazzling gold ensemble which featured an intricately designed gold top with a plunging neckline. The Greecian style look flowed to the ground and was completed with a matching gold headpiece on a cropped fringe hairstyle.

Her second outfit was a beautiful bright yellow floor-length chantilly lace gown with an extended train. Making the look even better, she added a flower-shaped headpiece to her long flowy weave.

Taking the stage finally, she wore a figure-hugging dress designed by Gert Johan Coetzee. The style was a dazzling diamond-embellished dress draped along the hips with silver iridescent fabric. She changed her hair to a 70s inspired wavy style which she complimented with fishbone shaped diamond earrings.
