Meet The Speakers

Shudufhadzo Musida

South African model and the crowned Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida started her modelling career when she was 17. The beauty Queen has been shattering all the stereotypes about beauty and body type since her win and still continues to do so. The 62nd Miss South Africa proudly rocks her brown skin, curvy shape and her hair shaved off, constantly proving there is beauty in diversity.

She has shot for various brands and campaigns, including retailer Woolworths and skincare range Eucerin. Musida is using her platform to advocate for mental health awareness and the economic empowerment of women and children.

Ohemaa Bonsu

Beauty influencer and entrepreneur Ohemaa Bonsu got into the makeup world because she didn’t see herself represented. She sought to break most of the rules in the makeup industry made for ‘dark skin’ because they were all false. Today, Ohemaa shows people with dark skin can wear any colour and rock the look they desire via her Youtube channel and Instagram page. She’s also the CEO of beauty brand Bonsu Beauty.

Anita.A.Adetoye

Africa’s leading makeup artist Anita Adetoye is one of the first Nigerian beauty entrepreneurs to properly harness the power of social media, most especially Instagram. She was also one of the first Nigerian beauty entrepreneurs to champion a signature style; her cutting edge approach to makeup, specifically her on-trend brow.

Her brand Anita Brows Beauty & Makeup has thrived In such a steep market and has sold out masterclasses home and abroad. The vision of her brand is to; Equip, Educate & Empower. 

Anita has multiple awards under her belt, such as The Future Awards – Prize For Beauty 2017, Forbes 30 Under 30 – In Business 2018, Abryans Fashion & Style Awards – Makeup Artist of the Year 2017, Avance Media – 2017 Most Influential Young Nigerian, TLSD Initiative – 100 Inspiring Young, Women Under 35 2019, to name a few.
