We are following closely the Design Indaba 2019 event and loving every moment. Thankfully, one of our favourite designers, Adebayo Oke-Lawal is currently at the 3-day event held in the Opera House of the Artscape Theatre Centre in Cape Town.

Bayo, who is the Creative Director of the wildly successful brand Orange Culture is among the impressive line up of speakers this year. He has been sharing real-time content on his Instagram page and instastories and trust us, the FOMO is real!.

He also had a captivating presentation for the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2019 collection which tackles toxic masculinity, one of the topics the brand is passionate about and the feedback has been nothing short of amazing.

Better late than never ! Hello Cape town- such a warm welcome from @designindaba team and SA tourism. Can’t wait to see you all in a few and tell you my story as well as a debut of my AW19

Yesterday in @orangecultureng . I didn’t have any time to actually take a photo. This was after flying in, rushing the talks and loads of interviews . This moment was my 20 minute break before the speakers dinner. @designindabagiving us the fullest experience! So thankful for the openness of the beautiful people in yesterday to my story and after everything the standing ovation pushed me to water my eyes – a moment in time I’ll never forget. Head to @orangecultureng to see snippets of my AW19.
