For the Rendoll show at Lagos Fashion Week, the actress and media personality stepped out in a chartreuse satin two-piece set by Style Envie that made a fairly convincing argument for being the brightest person in the room.

The dress had all the right ingredients: a sculpted, off-the-shoulder neckline, exaggerated sleeves, a fitted waist and a flared skirt with just enough volume to make things interesting. The glossy, almost electric shade of yellow-green could easily have overwhelmed the look, but the architectural construction gave it a sense of intention. It was playful without tipping into costume territory.

Storms kept the styling in the same golden family, pairing the dress with statement drop earrings from Symbols of Authority and delicate, leaflike strappy heels. A sleek updo kept the neckline and shoulders firmly in focus.
The result? A little theatrical, a little flirty, and entirely appropriate for Lagos Fashion Week. Sometimes more really is more.
