There’s football kits, and then there are cultural moments. The new Nike x Olaolu Slawn collaboration for the Nigeria national football team feels firmly like the latter. Loud, expressive, unmistakably Nigerian and dripping with the rebellious energy that has made Slawn one of the most exciting creative voices of his generation, the NIKE ’26 collab kits are already shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest fashion and football crossovers.

Shot by Stephen Tayo, the campaign brings together a lineup that feels like a perfect snapshot of Nigerian culture across generations. From football legend Jay-Jay Okocha to actress Patience Ozokwor, alongside Grace Ladoja, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Kida Kudz and DEELA, the visuals capture the beautiful chaos of Nigerian style, music, football and street culture colliding in one place.

And the collection itself? It goes far beyond jerseys. The set features everything from statement track suits and baseball jackets to hoodies, joggers and streetwear separates that feel designed for both the stadium and the streets. It’s sporty, nostalgic, playful and deeply rooted in the kind of fashion language young Nigerians have mastered effortlessly.
Bringing his signature graffiti-inspired style to the collection, Slawn covers the special-edition jersey, hoodies and jackets with hand-drawn illustrations, spray-paint textures and bold “NAIJA” typography that captures the energy and flair associated with Nigerian football culture.
At the heart of the drop is the Nike Cryoshot, a street-ready take on the iconic Mercurial 98, reworked with Slawn’s black marker illustrations across a clean white base. The collection also goes beyond style, honouring the Bravehearts Ladies Foundation, which supports the development of young female athletes across Sub-Saharan Africa.
If Nigeria’s iconic 2018 World Cup jersey became a global fashion phenomenon, this new Slawn-era chapter feels like its cooler, more chaotic younger sibling. See the campaign photos below.
