The annual celebration of Black actresses hosted by leading black lifestyle publication held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles on Thursday. The 12th Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards brought out a pack of stylishly dressed celebrities to celebrate each other on their accomplishments so far.
Among the gorgeous dresses and enviable looks, Yvonne Orji stood out at “The Power of Our Presence: Art & Activism” themed event.
The Insecure star looked stunning in a pretty burnt orange and coffee brown midi dress from W-O-S‘s Resort 2019 collection. From head to toe, she looked amazing styled by Apuje Kalu. Her hairstyle was a welcoming pop of colour; gold braids with a gold headpiece and matching accessories added spark to the ensemble.

Joining her on the red carpet, fellow Nigerian Actress Cynthia Erivo was a damsel in a bright orange lace dress paired with a cropped blazer jacket. She was styled by Adesamuel for the event.
