The Wonderland Collection was designed as a celebration of women across the world, a juxtaposition of scalloping detail and a blend of fabrics – velvet, silks, acrylics, calfskin, art, and leather prints.
In the acrylic top handle group, Christabel celebrates the suffragettes and the women’s vote, using the official purple and green suffragette colours.
Jamilah celebrates the Saudi women to drive movement, which saw their wishes come through in 2018.
Desiree celebrates the woman’s right to feel and look beautiful without apologizing for or minimizing it.
Naserian, which means bringer of peace, celebrates the gentle strength of the Masai, who stood against slavery & human trafficking in Africa.
In the acrylic clutch group, Ade, which means royalty in Yoruba, celebrates the queen in each woman.
Kiki & Aiko showcase the strength and friendship of two queens from often marginalised communities – Asian and Black – not afraid to shine, standing next to each other, supporting and adjusting each other’s crowns.
The Liz clutch is named after Lara’s mother, whose strength she has drawn and learnt from.
The Josephine bag is a nod to the 40s and 50s but with a fresh interpretation and is named after her 105-year-old grandmother, whose support has remained strong over the years.
The velvet book clutches are named after her nieces, Derin, Oyin, Aye, and Tofe, because she wants them to approach life with an open mind to learning and growth.
The Shero is a collective celebration of diversity in women.
The Hope crossbody box bag and the Faith top handle bag reflect Lara’s aspirations for the brand and the women who will wear the brand.
