New designers pop up everyday and quite a few of them are undoubtedly talented. We’ve had our eyes on quite a few up and coming brands and we will be highlighting some of the major on-the rise- brands you need to know in the Discover series.
BNS: Why did you start your brand?
I have always had a passion for fashion and design ever since I was little. Fashion and art have always been an escape for me during times that reality was not what I wanted it to be. Knowing that becoming a fashion designer was what I wanted to do I decided to use my talent to be a voice of the African millennial. This is why I started my own brand, after honing in my skills by working for fashion labels in Ghana, in 2015.
BNS:Who is the top celebrity or influencer on your wishlist?
BNS: How would you describe your label?
Jermaine Bleu is a Ready-To-Wear brand founded by Ghanaian designer Jason Jermaine Aseidu in 2015. Since the launch in 2015, we have provided a series of robust collections to our customers each season. Jermaine Bleu was created to give a new creative voice to the millennial. Millennials are finding different ways to express themselves and their culture. Jermaine Bleu was created to fill this need by creating clothing that speaks to the millennials desire for expression while also reflecting their connection to their culture; the Ghanaian culture.

BNS:Who is the Jermaine Bleu Client?
Jermaine Bleu doesn’t have a specific demographic in mind when creating collections. we believe Jermaine Bleu pieces can be worn by college students to people running multi-billion dollar companies and anyone in between. BNS: Where do you get style inspiration?
I know this is a cliche but I get inspired by my friends. I am surrounded by a lot of interesting people who are super multi-talented individuals. The way they express themselves with their different forms of art inspires my style a lot.
