From Dice Ailes throwing up Naira notes during his Otedola single performance to Davido winning African Artiste of the Year, the 2018 Soundcity MVP Awards delivered one of the annual celebration’s most unforgettable events yet.

With all the excitement that surrounded the evening, you had better believe your favourite stars came through with incredible looks that lived up to the hype.

After hours of prepping, primping and pinning they made the first award show of the year count with swoon-worthy outfits, courtesy of top stylists, makeup artists and hair pros.

Juliet Ibrahim

The actress gave us Friday night fever with a dazzling red and silver thin strap dress from Erica Moore paired nicely with a subtle red lip makeup by J stonez  complemented by a platinum blonde hairdo done by  Veebeez. She was styled for the night by Swanky signatures.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu

The always dapper host wore a royal blue brocade blazer paired with a crisp white shirt and a deep blue bow tie from one of his favourites, Mai Atafo. He finished his look black pants and loafers.

Osas Ighodaro Ajibade

The media personality wore a frothy layered soft pink crop top and skirt set designed by Moofa with beige pumps. Following the colour palette of the outfit, Doranne beauty gave her a subtle glam look which was accentuated by her weave from Goodhair LTD pulled up into an updo. Her look was stylishly put together by Yummie Ogbebor for The studio by S.B.Youme

Soma Anyama

The model and actor who anchored one of the award presentations sure made an impression in a brown checkered suit from Jason Porshe. He completed the look with a black shirt and black shoes, accessorising with a watch, a wrist bracelet and a ring.

Moet Abebe

The self-proclaimed Radio goddess set the runway ablaze with a figure-hugging, glittering gold Marvee gown. Her5 hair was styled in a high ponytail by  Ayo complemented with barely-there makeup done by Adella. She was styled for the night by The style train.

Toke Makinwa

Toke went for a simple white look for the night, in a mesh top with pleated flap bright bodycon dress, styled by Harvella with white strap sandals. She rocked a buzzcut hairdo by Bernard smiless and a bold red sparkly eyed makeup by Anita Brows.

Timini Egbuson

Colourful and dapper, actor Timini showed up in a bright yellow jacket, black turtleneck and tweed pants, styled by Simeon Black for a Parisian look.

Tiwa Savage

The Sugarcane crooner received the Female MVP award in a #Guccified look. She made a full Gucci ensemble work; shades, matching set and socks paired with white platform T-strap heels.

Vimbai Mutinhiri

Zimbabwean TV Host, Vimbai dolled up in a floor-length dress and styled her hair into a slick braided ponytail. Our favourite part of her Fruché gown was the padded thigh-high slit — so decadent!

Skales

Music artiste Skales had his fashion moment wearing white and black tuxedo adorned with an accessorised necktie. He also had two brooches on and silver wrist jewellery to finish the look.
