Makeup generally has had quite the evolution. From Y2K’s dark lip liner to the outdated super thin eyebrows and, of course, bold colourful eyeshadow.
But like most things in beauty, what goes around comes around, and the latest trend in makeup is the 90s glitter filled makeup! The best runways at the Spring 2019 shows featured so many gorgeous and sparkly renditions of glitter eye makeup and the beauty world has been hooked since then.
Songstress Simi looked beyond beautiful on the cover of beauty brand, BM|Pro‘s, March 2019 edition serving a gorgeous dose of glitter makeup!
The BM|Pro team didn’t hesitate to do a flawless makeover for the star. For the cover, Simi’s hair was neatly styled in an asooke headpiece as she wore a warm rust eyeshadow creased and covered with owambe-ready gold glitter pigment. Adding more drama to her eyes, dramatic lashes and sharp wing liner worked together with the perfect contour and highlight face definition.
To balance this strong look, her natural lip shape and colour was enhanced with BM|Pro’s paper long lasting lipgloss. The balance between the catchy bold eyes and the easy-to-touch-up lips make the look perfect to transcend from day to night.

I’d always imagined having her in my chair but I was quite unprepared for the downward turn of events the day of our shoot—- Traffic and stress got the better part of the day and we almost canceled… We made it in the nick of time and when I saw her for the very first time, I was blown!!! She has the most beautiful Skin (Smooth, Spotless, Amazing Tone, Poreless!) and that body too!
