It’s only the first month of Big Brother Naija, but one thing is already certain: Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is setting the fashion agenda once again. Every season, viewers eagerly anticipate Ebuka’s wardrobe as much as they do the housemates, and this year, the designer has wasted no time delivering looks that blur the lines between tailoring, art and cultural storytelling.
So far, the collaboration has produced three avant-garde looks, each showcasing a different interpretation of contemporary Nigerian menswear.
The first look featured a sharply tailored double-breasted suit with a striking reverse ombré effect. Fading from charcoal black into ivory on the jacket and reversing the gradient on the trousers, the ensemble was a masterclass in precision tailoring. A sculptural bow detail on the lapel added an unexpected, fashion-forward finish, proving that classic suiting can still surprise.

For look two, Atafo turned to regal South-South influences. Ebuka wore a metallic silver-and-black lattice sequin tunic paired with a floor-length black velvet wrapper, layered with ceremonial beads, a traditional cap and an ornate umbrella. The look merged heritage with high fashion, creating a silhouette that felt both rooted in tradition and unapologetically editorial.

The third look, not by Atafo, but by Deji and Kola, continued the designer’s streak of theatrical dressing, denim agbada reinforcing why the Atafo–Ebuka partnership remains one of the most anticipated fashion moments of every BBNaija season.
