We think this is such a different approach to date night makeup – sexy and glowy without trying too hard. It works for day or night and can be dressed up or down depending on what look your date calls for.

Get the Look:

Cover your lids in a shimmery warm taupe hue (makeup artist Emem Francis dipped into the Adumadan and Iroko Brown) and go easy on the black eyeliner (trace only the water lines) and apply several layers of mascara. Mascara will help to bring out your eyes so don’t skip this step. Apply a golden bronze hue on your cheeks, the top of cheekbones, bridge of your nose, and your Cupid’s bow. Choose a neutral lip colour, either a sheer lipstick or gloss in the bronze or caramel family. Layer your lip colour (Emem layered House of Tara’s Oge and the TC07 pencil with a clear gloss.) To up the other-worldly glow factor, she broke out Tara’s  Amaraya blush and swiped on the Tara Bronzer in light and medium.

If you prefer a dewy finish don’t forget to moisturise your face before applying the foundation.
