Pearl Modiadie is one of our very favourite South African BellaStylistas so naturally we were delighted when we learnt she was on hosting duty for the SAFTAs13. At both the technical awards and the awards ceremony Pearl shone in three looks, bringing a mix of traditional red carpet glamour and Afrocentric fashion to the stage in these jaw-dropping looks.
For her first outfit, the media darling opted for a full-length feathered and crystal creation from high-end South African fashion brand Biji La Maison.
Her striking second look was a bronze strapless lace number with a matching braided waist tie to emphasize Pearl’s tiny waist and stunning figure. The mermaid silhouette tapers off into a small train and her hair and makeup was kept relatively simple.
Fabrosanz designed her third look which was a vibrant African print look. She paired the look with a matching headwrap and bold, gold statement earrings. Her beauty look for the day was finished off with a pale pink lip.
