Ovie Soko just released a Style Edit in partnership with British clothing giant ASOS. The ex- Love Island reality show housemate was announced earlier this year as the face of the brand shortly after leaving the villa. The Nigerian basketball player is known for his statement fashion items especially his bucket hat – which was one of the many reasons he was a fan favourite on the UK show.
Ovie tells British magazine Hello that the collection was inspired by this father PappiRay who is a visual artist and a member of the Nigerian arts society in the UK.
Ovie has taken to Instagram saying that he is excited and proud to have worked on the collection with his family.
I’m so excited to launch this project with ASOS that I’ve been working on behind the scenes for the past month or so it’s been a journey and I can’t wait to share it with you. Family means the world to me and I’m proud to have done this with my family by my side every step of the way.
