Ghanaian actor Nana Akua Addo never fails to stop us in our tracks every time the AMVCAs roll around. While the awards celebrate cinematic excellence, the fashion on the red carpet undeniably deserves its own accolades.

When it comes to delivering unforgettable looks at the AMVCAs, Nana Akua Addo consistently pushes boundaries. From a sculpted Gaurav Gupta gown to her viral 3D fashion last year, Nana is never afraid to think outside the box – in fact, she often seems to create a whole new box for herself. She consistently opts for mind-boggling designs and showcases outfits never seen before.

This year, she has truly outdone herself. Her outfit is nothing short of a masterpiece, a breathtaking fusion of fashion and engineering. The dress is constructed with scale-like elements that artfully come together to form its structure. Notably, these scales appear to orbit her waist and extend above her head, creating a mesmerising and almost gravity-defying effect. Her hair packed into a bun is a smart choice; since the dress is dramatic, other details of the look need to be minimal.

It’s definitely a fusion of fashion and technology. While Nana Akua Addo served as the creative director and conceptualizer, the outfit itself was brought to life through the collaborative efforts of Nicole Stylish and Metal Bender Studio. Yoli Koosoom and Yartel Gh were also part of the creative team.
