Inspired by native Nigerian menswear and modern tailoring, Africana Couture has reimagined Nigerian traditional menswear, elevating it through contemporary tailoring and presentation.
In a statement following the release of its off-season collection, the brand wrote:
This collection is a celebration of authentic continental style, as Africa’s most stylish men are continuously inspired by homegrown fashion over westernized ideas of “dapper” and “style”. This collection memorializes this hybridization of true African style with western styling elements. The collection is made of elaborate ceremonial three-piece looks, everyday caftan set (pant and tunics), and lounge wears (the onesies).
