Model, TV personality and host of Spice TV‘s Style 101, Idia Aisien stays dishing workwear inspiration on her Instagram page and we’re totally inspired to start the week looking like a bosses this June.

Lady Biba

We especially love her dedication to the wear Nigerian movement, a lot these pieces can easily be found here in Nigeria and abroad. Some looks work best for a creative workspace, some transition perfectly from day to night and can be modified to fit a more formal workspace.

We’ll talk you through it but more importantly, be inspired to slay in the office this week!

1. Lady Boss

Nothing says Lady Boss like a Lady Biba dress, this look is perfect for all workspaces.

2. The Power Suit

A power suit by Fancy M in a bold colour. If the V-neck is too low for you, try it with a black, white or red camisole underneath but for a pop of colour, try orange or yellow.

3. Pinstripes

What we love most about this look? You can totally wear the pinstriped skirt with any other top of your choice. Our first recommendation is certainly a crisp white shirt, tucked in with a skinny belt on the waist.

4. Cold Shoulders

You can also try this Divalukky dress with a crisp white shirt underneath for a more covered look. If you’ve got a semi-formal work dinner/evening function, this dress could also work perfectly. Perhaps an office party?

5. A Classic

Ah yes! The classic white shirt that’ll never fade away, every BellaStylista needs this in her closet. Take it from us, it saves a multitude of “I have nothing to wear days”. Style it all white like Idia or wear it with something else, the options are endless with this piece.

6. Cerulean

Be the edgy boss lady in this dress by Terracotta. The colour is our absolute fave and styling it with pink heels for a colour block look like Idia’s done is the perfect way to make a statement with any outfit.

7. Colour Block

Another colour block outfit here, orange and pink go so well together. Try a sleeveless, high neck camisole or a white button down shirt underneath this dress to make it a bit more formal.

8. Still in Bed

Simple but great, this is how you do PJs in the office. A well-fitting silk shirt and smart pants will do the trick but the tip is to make sure the shirt is the right fit to avoid looking like you literally rolled out of bed. ?

9. Casj

Wana Sambo is another great designer when it comes to workwear looks and this semi-casual is a great TGIF look if you don’t want to be too loud with your choices and after work plans.

10. Spoken Sleeves

No one makes a great power dress like Style Temple. Let the sleeves do all the talking for you in this dress. Idia’s choice to pair this dress with flats is a great look but feel free to wear it with heels to the office.
