Congratulations are in order for Nigerian US-based fashion writer Nikki Ogunnaike as she resumes her new role as deputy fashion director with men’s magazine GQ. Ogunaike made the news official on Instagram by posting a sneak peek of the magazine’s latest issue with the caption “Is this where I say some news?”

The fashion and style expert who left her job a few weeks ago as style director for Elle.com will resume her new role with “immediate effect.” She will report to the fashion director, Mobalaji Dawodu, another Nigeria who heads the department.

Ogunnaike has previously been featured in high-end fashion platforms including New York Magazine‘s The Cut, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Business of Fashion. In her new role, she will serve as a liaison between GQ and clothing brands.
