We all deserve a treat every now and then. With the headlines these days and the way things are going on in Lagos, I say we deserve a treat every day. Am I right or am I right? 

Amidst the ups and downs life throws at us, the storm seems to stop for a moment when we have a treat. There’s no shame in having one every day especially when it’s guilt-free. Yes, there are guilt-free treats that taste amazing without the excessive calories.

A must-try guilt-free treat is a fruity popsicle. Fruity popsicles come in so many flavors, are very inexpensive, and easy to make. With so many options to choose from, you can never go wrong with this combo pineapple-banana-orange. Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients 

One medium sweet pineapple

3 large bananas 

2 oranges (imported oranges are better)

Step 1

Peel the orange, banana, and pineapple. 

Step 2

In a blender, add all fruits and blend until smooth.

Step 3

Pour the mix into the popsicle mold and freeze for 6 hours or more. 

For an extra kick, add fresh ginger with the fruits and blend until smooth. This recipe will make 10 popsicles.
