Every day, Novelist and feminist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie inspires us with her style  – from attending various conferences to easy streetwear and her #WearNigerian project, we are always glued to her Instagram ready to get inspiration for our next look.

Joining Celine Dion, Anna Wintour, and other celebrities at Paris Couture Week 2019, Chimanda was a delight to behold at the Dior Autumn-Winter 2019-2020 show, wearing a total look from the Dior Cruise 2020 collection.

The collection which was presented in Marrakesh, titled Common Ground, despite its attempt to come off as cultural appreciation with its use of wax fabrics rather than cultural appropriation did not tick all the boxes required and no sooner has it been revealed did it come under fire and criticism by many African designers, editors and industry insiders.

Chimamanda looked stylish as ever in a shirt and maxi skirt set which she paired with a pastel blue Lady Dior bag. She wore bold red lipstick and her eyes neatly lined with a thick curly afro hairstyle.
