On the back of a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19, DStv and Mzansi Magic hosted the DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards (DStvMVCA) at the Sun Arena on Saturday.
South African celebrities and delegates shined on the much-loved blue carpet, wearing standout fashion ensembles. As you would expect, South African award-winning model and media entrepreneur Blue Mbombo came dressed to impress in a creation by Scalo Design.
The dress caught our attention not only because it was in bright yellow but also because it is a two-material dress with sheer cut-outs playing illusion, sublimating her dream curves.
The one-shoulder dress also featured intricate beading and fringe detailing that cascaded down her hips to unveil a high middle slit and a sweep train.

Blue accessorised the whole look with rose gold jewels. The beauty kept her makeup luminous with a play of colour on her eyes, defined brows, bold lashes and glossy nude lips, and she opted for a curly updo that perfectly framed her face.
