Uche Natori brought a fresh take on red-carpet dressing to the London premiere of Verity, stepping out in a striking custom look by Nigerian label Rendoll.
The look featured a white and navy abstract print across a cropped, off-shoulder top and voluminous bubble skirt. The exaggerated proportions gave the two-piece a playful, sculptural quality, while the exposed midriff kept the silhouette feeling modern and youthful.
She kept the styling relatively pared back, allowing the print and shape of the outfit to do the talking. Sleek, centre-parted hair, delicate jewellery and pointed black heels completed the look.
It was a fitting fashion moment for the premiere of Verity, the big-screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling psychological thriller. The film stars Dakota Johnson, Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett, with Michael Showalter directing the adaptation. It begins its global theatrical rollout from September 30, ahead of its October 2 wide release.
Uche’s Rendoll moment proves that a premiere look does not need to be covered in sequins to make an impression. Sometimes, a great print, an unexpected silhouette and a little volume are enough.
