Wrapped in a vibrant orange sweater piece and wearing her signature pixie cut, Tiwa Savage brought both style and substance to the Oxford Africa Conference where she appeared as a keynote speaker.

Taking to Instagram after the event, Tiwa reflected on the current state of African music, pushing back against narratives that the industry is in decline.

“While some may think African music is suffering a decline, we are actually in a healthy cycle,” she wrote, explaining that this moment is more about building sustainable infrastructure than chasing rapid growth.

“We have a lot to correct but let’s not confuse correction with collapse.”

And the message hit just as hard as the look.
